Following on from our round-up of new bike parking in Malvern (August 2024, updated December), there’s news of additions by Malvern Hills Trust plus we’ve increased our info on Colwall’s facilities.

Triple bike rack at Gardiners Quarry

Three car parks on the Malvern Hills now have a set of Sheffield bike racks each. Starting from the north, West of England (near Hayslad spring) has a pair in the smaller car park tucked away just south of the main space. Gardiners Quarry has a set of 3 opposite the old Kettle Sings and clearly visible from the road. While Black Hill, just north of British Camp also has some at the start of the easy access path – still on our list to check/snap. The racks were funded by Malvern Hills National Landscape.

Other hills car parks already had racks: Upper Wyche (right at the top), Wynds Point (British Camp) and Swinyard. (MalvernTrail did list North Malvern and Tank Quarries too, but these racks seem to have gone.) New photos are in the gallery.

Speaking of the gallery, the hills have acquired their own section, and photos of Colwall bike parking at library and village hall have been added. The listings page has also been updated.
